What we check on every website

In line with WCAG 2.1 AA and the Accessibility Act. Mandatory for public institutions, smart for everyone else.

Colour contrast
Text at least 4.5 : 1 against the background.
Keyboard only
Everything works without a mouse, and the focus is always visible.
Screen readers
Correct headings, labels and image descriptions.
Zoom up to 200 %
Nothing breaks or disappears.
Forms
Clear field labels and error messages.
Motion and animation
Turned off when the user doesn't want them.
