After the end of the project, the website went under the management of another partner and was redesigned in the meantime. The logo created as part of this project is still in active use. The portfolio text describes the original delivered solution.

Project context
The market for garden machinery and equipment is extremely competitive online — customers compare specifications, prices, and brands in multiple places before making a purchase decision, and increasingly, they buy directly online without going to a physical store. Fember had a good physical location and a quality assortment, but without an online sales channel and a recognizable visual identity, it could not compete with larger players in the digital space.
The project included two interconnected elements — creating a logo that defines the company's visual identity, and building a WooCommerce web shop that opens an online sales channel for the client and allows customers to view and order the entire product range.
My role and process
I took over the project in its entirety — from logo design and setting up the WooCommerce architecture to visual design, filling out the catalog, and handing it over to the client.
Logo design
The logo was created in CorelDRAW as the foundation of the company's visual identity. The design had to communicate robustness and reliability — values that are key for a company that sells professional machinery and equipment — while at the same time being clean and modern enough for digital use. The logo was consistently applied throughout the company's web shop and visual materials, and is still in active use today.
WooCommerce web shop
The web shop is set up in WooCommerce with a catalog organized into clear categories by product type — garden machinery with subcategories such as lawnmowers, trimmers, shredders, tillers and tractor mowers, machinery for professional use, woodworking with log splitters, vehicles including ATVs and motorcycles, and garden furniture. Leading brands such as Hecht, Jansen and Cub Cadet are particularly highlighted, which have their own sections within the catalog, making it easier for customers loyal to a particular brand to navigate.
In addition to standard e-commerce functionality, quick product overviews have been implemented that allow customers to view details without leaving the catalog page — which is especially useful when comparing multiple similar models. The cover is laid out with dynamic promotional blocks that highlight top deals, seasonal deals and new arrivals — a key marketing tool for a highly seasonal product category.
Catalog and product management
The range of machinery is extremely diverse and technically specific — each product has a number of technical specifications that are important to customers when making a purchase decision. The catalog was set up with a focus on clearly structured product cards with technical data, photos and prices. After the initial structure was set up and the catalog was filled in, the client took over the management and addition of new products independently.
Responsiveness
The site is fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices. Buyers who compare machinery and equipment often do so on mobile devices — in the field, in the store or at home — which made the mobile experience, especially the display of technical specifications and product photos, a particularly important dimension of the project.
Challenges
A specific challenge was the breadth and technical complexity of the assortment — product categories of completely different natures, from lawnmowers to mini excavators and ATVs, had to be organized into a coherent catalog structure that is intuitive for all types of customers. In addition, the technical data of the machines must be presented in sufficient detail to satisfy the professional buyer who knows exactly what he is looking for, and at the same time understandable enough not to turn away the less experienced buyer who is just exploring the options.
Result
A complete visual identity and a functional WooCommerce web shop were delivered, opening an online sales channel for Fember and allowing customers to view and order the entire range of machinery. The logo created as part of the project is still in active use as the basis of the company's visual identity.
Remark
For the same company, Fember doo, we also created another website, which has since been changed as well. The logo, which we created in CorelDraw, remains.
